2 Years!

Yesterday was our two year anniversary. The pic of flowers is one of the surprises I received. I absolutely love tulips and these came to my door yesterday afternoon! Tony and I had the day off and I thought we would go do some things, but he said we need to wait at the house for something to come that he had ordered. I never imagined I would be receiving these beautiful flowers.

After the flowers arrived, he took me to buy a new outfit for our date to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. The food was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and time together. Seriously, if you have ever heard anyone talk about how good this place is, it really is all that and more. I have never had such good food before. After an amazing meal, we headed to the State house to walk around in the gorgeous weather we have been having. It was an amazing evening with the man I absolutely adore.

Because we had yesterday and today off, I wanted today to be a day of relaxation. He and I have been working so hard to get the house on the market, we have not had much time to relax. So for Tony, I created a basket of things he loves. Some of the things I put in his basket include a new pair of slippers, new pajamas, favorite candies and snacks,(I was excited to find the Yorkie bar, we have looked for these but haven't been able to find them. That is why I love World Market) and of course a movie he has been wanting! I also made him breakfast. (It was going to be breakfast in bed but I realized that wouldn't be an easy feat without a tray to eat on...so we just ate breakfast at our table.)

Most of all, it has just been wonderful spending time with Tony. We are both so busy that it is hard to find time just to be together. I honestly believe we saw each other when we were dating. :)
I am so grateful I am married to this wonderful man with whom I get to spend the rest of eternity!

  1. Wow- It sounds like you two had a wonderful time. I am so proud of you two and how you continue to "grow" your love. The flowers are beautiful and so are your words about Tony. I hope he makes a copy of that to treasure.
