I have been meaning to post for about 3 weeks now. I can't believe how quickly time goes anymore. Tony and I have been so busy as we prepare to move. Right now, August feels like it is still a good distance away, but I know it is going to sneak up on us.
Tony has been applying for every scholarship we can find. We are hoping he gets some of them so it will help ease the costs of Culinary school. While he works on scholarships, I have been applying to school districts near Charlotte. I haven't heard anything, yet. I will be sure to post when I do.
Tony and I went to Charlotte a few weeks ago to spend time with some of his family and look for places to live. I think we have decided that we are going to rent an apartment rather than a house since houses rent pretty high up there.We found a really great apartment. I am currently trying to convince Tony that it is where we should live. :) I think he likes it, he is just concerned about how small some of the units seem to be.
Overall, life is great! We are excited about the changes that are coming our way.
